Approaching Sports from a Different Stance

In boxing to be‘Southpaw’ is to box with a right foot forward stance that differs from the normal orthodox approach.

Having studied at the world’s top sporting university Loughborough, you’re lucky to be taught by the world’s leading sports academics. Read their work and you’ll quickly see for yourself that the structure and ethos surrounding the majority of today’s modern sport is massively ineffectual and fundamentally flawed.

For me sport has always been something pure and noble and a vehicle that allows people to come together, improve themselves and learn valuable lessons that help them achieve in all aspects of their life.

After graduating from Loughborough with First Class Honours I was hired by Seb Coe’s London Sports Agency as the first person in their new content production arm, working with international brands, governing bodies and world class athletes. Leaving in 2014 to explore exciting freelance opportunities I’ve been fortunate to work on a whole host of projects all across the world.

After a decade in the world of sports content production, I’m incredibly excited to be building Southpaw along with an incredible team. We are a company fully focused on creating amazing, impactful sports content that I hope will a valuable contribution to the dialogue and ethos of post-modern sporting culture before we move into the age of ‘digitalism’.

Whether you want to communicate your message, increase participation or sell more products, we have an extensive history in the world of sports media supported by an in-depth academic knowledge of sports marketing and sociology.

Supported by a roster of specialist freelance talent we have the flexibility to adapt our operation to meet the needs of any project, whilst keeping our organisation lean and not charging the same exorbitant fees most agencies will.

I hope in years to come Southpaw will be responsible for creating real positive change in the world of sport.
